My name is Anthony Rivera, and I am the Youth Center Director for Good News Ministries. My wife and I minister to teens and youth together in the inner-city of Indianapolis. Both of our families are products of a bus outreach, similar to the work that we do now. Let’s just say our families are grateful for ministries like Good News. I chose to serve here because their mission is to provide hope to as many people as possible, starting with the Gospel of Christ.
God called me to preach as a young boy, and I believe this is a place my family can serve Him full time and make a difference in the lives of others. One of the ways God has blessed me in my time here is the great people I get to work with. I believe some of the greatest Christians in the entire world are the servants I work with every day at Good News Ministries. One of the many beliefs that I share with Good News is that God is no respecter of persons. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. I believe that everyone should have a chance to hear the Gospel, to be loved, and to make something better of their lives forever. I’m thankful that I can serve at a place that is willing to reach the most desperate people and give inner-city youth a chance for a more positive life.
