Meet Chase
Chase lost his father at a young age and lives with his mom and five siblings. He had never attended church before coming to our Youth Center and during our Summer Program, Chase trusted Christ as his Savior. He now attends and looks forward to learning more about Jesus, playing basketball and spending time with friends. “When I come to the Youth Center, I feel good because we learn about Jesus,” Chase shared.

Meet Adam
Adam spent years searching for purpose through drugs, false religions and broken relationships, but each left him emptier than before. After years of addiction and 15 years in prison, he came to Good News Ministries seeking a fresh start. Through chapel services and conversations with our counselors, Adam trusted Christ as his Savior. Today, he serves as our Head Cook, is rebuilding relationships with his children and is walking faithfully with the Lord.

Meet Heather
Heather’s childhood was filled with instability, abuse and broken relationships. As an adult, addiction, trauma and six years of human trafficking left her searching for hope. God led her to Good News Ministries’ Recovering Life program, where she found healing through Christ-centered discipleship. Today, she is sober, rebuilding her relationship with her daughter, living in our Family Shelter and growing in her faith.

Meet Michael
Michael first came to our Boys Home through the 40-Day Summer Challenge, struggling with anger, depression and substance use. As staff faithfully discipled him, he placed his trust in Christ. After returning home, he drifted back into old struggles without strong spiritual support. Remembering the love and guidance he found at the Boys Home, Michael returned. Today, he is continuing to grow in Christ in a place where hope, healing and lasting transformation are possible.
