Meet Julio
He may have only started coming to the Youth Center because of his cousin, but he ended up staying because he found so much more! He spoke with a Good News counselor who talked about their difficult pasts and how God saved them, showing him the love that comes from knowing Christ. “I wanted to be part of that because I’d been through a lot of messed up stuff too, and I wanted that peace.
Meet Van
Drugs and alcohol had a firm grip on Van, but everything is different now. “Good News is like a second home to me. I knew where to go to get my life sorted out, and this place was it. Good News has continually helped me grow in my salvation. They are teaching me proper relationships with my family and other people. It has been a blessing.”
