Hope Away from Home

Away from the city, our 145 acre Boys Home offers real hope for troubled, inner-city teen boys. Many of them have been in and out of juvenile facilities or have become too hardened for their families to handle. The program is a 9-month residential Academy that motivates the students to personal and academic excellence, where the love of Christ is shared with them on a daily basis. In addition to moving toward a Core 40 diploma, each student learns valuable skilled trades and receives one-on-one spiritual training throughout the year. Specialized courses and vocational training are offered to engage the young men in concepts of life planning and career choices. Full scholarships are offered to selected students in this effort to produce godly young men.

Meet Noah

The Good News Boys Home Residential Academy uses spiritual instruction, structure, and discipline to help at-risk teenage boys have a real shot at getting their lives on track for the future. With a GPA of only .5, Noah came to the academy after being “written off” by public school. But with God’s grace and very hard work, he’s earned a 3.49 GPA during his time at our Boys Home!

Providing Hope Through…

Our main goal is to reach every young man in our program with the Gospel message and lead them to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. This goal is accomplished through prayer, Bible studies, chapel services, guidance and godly counsel.

Our passion is training at-risk teenage boys to turn away from destructive lifestyles. Ultimately, we encourage them to embrace a lifestyle of biblical manhood in order to see them reach their full potential. In a quiet, wooded setting, our program’s structured environment provides one-on-one counseling, Biblical instruction and discipleship designed to offer a truly life-transforming experience for these struggling teen boys.
