A New Path

Tucked away on 145 peaceful acres outside the city, the Good News Boys Home offers a place removed from distractions and negative influences. It’s a free, year-round residential academy for teenage boys hardened by lack of discipline, rebellion and sin. Many arrive with shattered family relationships and carrying a lot of anger. But here, they can find hope.

Noe came to the Boys Home 40-Day Summer Challenge in 2023. At the time, he was struggling with a temper and feeling misunderstood by his family. He didn’t get along well with anyone and had little interest in school or the future.

But something changed that summer. After talking with one of the chapel speakers, Noe made a decision that would shape his life—he chose to accept the free gift of salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

Since then, life has been different. Now a sophomore in our Academy, Noe is learning patience with others and how to build healthy relationships. He’s doing better in school and has discovered a love for geometry and writing. Surrounded by other boys with similar stories, Noe says it feels like a fresh start with people who don’t judge his past.

“The Boys Home is a very good program that is helping me,” he shared.

Here, boys like Noe don’t just get their education and a place to stay—they get the tools necessary to become men of faith and Christ-like character, building the foundation for a successful life God’s way.
