Building Men of Faith

At our Boys Home, we make every effort to teach and mentor the troubled teens in our care while exemplifying Biblical manhood in a Christ-centered community. The goal is simple: to help each young man come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus and grow in Godly character. That firm foundation allows them to step into adulthood with confidence.

Taj’s journey shows what that looks like over time. When he arrived, he needed stability and guidance. He found daily rhythms and structure that built good habits. He found staff that listened and prayed with him. He found peers who learned alongside him.

Our program uses tiered goals to mark growth in responsibility and leadership. Taj became the first student to reach Tier 5 out of the 6 levels of promotion! That milestone reflects many small choices done well: paying attention in school, completing chores, serving others, owning up to setbacks and trying again, and leaning on Scripture when days were hard.

What encouraged us most wasn’t just the checklist. It was the way Taj began investing in younger boys. He set a tone in the lodge. He was attentive in devotions. He looked for ways to help without being asked. That is the fruit we pray to see.

Now, with assistance from the Cindy Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund, Taj is at Pensacola Christian College to study Youth Ministry. He wants to help teens the way others helped him. This next step is a joy to celebrate and a reminder of God’s faithfulness through the Boys Home.

Every young man here is on a path worth cheering. Your prayers and encouragement help make that possible!
